Where it started in june of 2014 I rode in my first 220 kilometres ride from toronto to niagara falls to help raise money for the princess margaret cancer centre one of the five top cancer research centres in the world I was able to raise 3600 00 in funds which helped support princess margaret s vision the enbridge ride to conquer cancer 2017 this year I want too do something different I would like you too ride with me my first year I had the honour of speaking with so many of you and hearing your personal stories I was so touched by each and everyone of your stories and I came too the conclusion we have all been affected by cancer in someway I felt with each of you cried with each of you and I want too thank each of you for being so open and honest with me I am back for my second year and I want to ride in honor of you and someone dear too you I need to raise 2 500 in order to ride a Best Nicki Minaj Signature shirt june 10th and 11th 2017 this really is a collective effort and I can t do this ride without you so after much thought I am creating my own riding shirt for the 2017 ride the front of my shirt will read thanks to and the back of the shirt will read in honour of for each individual who donates towards my ride I will put your name your families surname or your companies name on the front of my shirt on the back I will put the name of the individual s who you are donating in honour of this can be an individual who is currently fighting has fought or has sadly passed due to this horrible disease this ride means as much too me as it does you and I would really love for you too be as much a part of my ride as I am that being said you can also make an anonymous donation if you do not want your name on my shirt I would love too thank you personally so please reach out too me if you do make an anonymous donation I truly believe that one day cancer will be a disease of the past but until then I will do whatever it takes to raise awareness and money in order for the princess margaret cancer centre to advance in breakthrough research innovative treatments and create a standard of care that focuses on the unique nature of each patient sending love alexandra mckibbon full article and our fundraising page.
